            There’s a species that lives in many ecosystems of the North American continent. It is one of the most beautiful of the fox family, it is the Red Fox. This fox was anticipating as well as diligently waiting on a chance for a food snack. It was waiting on a vole, ground squirrel, or wood rat. This fox was hunting in the verdant green grasses of a high mountain meadow. I happened upon this fox while I was looking for Deer and Elk in the Wet Mountains of Colorado. As he moved through the grass I moved in slow, and each time he would look up, I would stop and hold. The deep greens and the crisp colors are always heavenly, and mesmerizing. With patience and persistence I finally captured this awesome split second in time with this super sweet shot of – “Eager Eyes” I hope you enjoy it.
