There comes a time when you can put things together. It has been many years that I have spent out on the Desert plains, and in the foothills of Colorado. As a child I put things together and thought things were a certain way but as an adult I think about certain species and calculations about certain species don’t always work out. For instance when I was a young boy, I thought that antelope were mainly a desert species and I have found that not to be true at all. I have seen them in every ecosystem accept alpine. Unless you want to call the continental divide alpine in southern Wyoming! In that case I have seen them in alpine too. Anyway you see what I mean, things have to be investigated. The more time you spend out there the better feeling you will get about the fragileness of Nature, and how it’s all connected. The seasons roll by and time has made its mark on the trees and grass. Autumn is here and the trees are changing. I love the Aspens and the grasses vivid colors of fall. So as time ticked one day I had found just what I’d been waiting for all these years.  I would finally see pronghorn in Aspens and Montane that was just amazing to me. With a beautiful background of Aspen no less I was just in awe when I captured this Pronghorn – “Fall Buck”MHope you like it!
